Free Bible Studies

We taught Sister Shaw’s Bible Study, "Focus On Freedom, at a crucial time at Life Church Flagstaff. We had several hurting, abused, depressed young adults struggling to break free. This Bible study has helped new converts and seasoned saints alike as we find the true freedom that we need to serve God in a healthy relationship.

When I first started Sister Kathy Shaw's "Focus on Freedom" class I was tripping all over myself!   My chaotic, mistrusting emotions controlled my everyday thinking process! Instead of being focused on the freedom in Christ, I was focused on the limitations of my own weaknesses! I was a sad, broken mess! I was shackled and bound to the stronghold of wayward thinking! I could see no hope. But the more I kept listening to Sister Shaw's consistent, sound teachings, the more the Lord was able to unravel me.  Soon, my emotions were calming, my heart was mending, and my mind was strengthening! Through Sister Shaw's loving, outreach ministry of "Focus on Freedom" my wayward thinking was healing, I was being set free! (John 8:36) ... free from destruction, free from darkness, and free from addiction! I was no longer shackled or bound to my way of thinking! I was free to follow Christ, to trust Him and to worship Him wholeheartedly! I am so thankful for the selfless love of Sister Shaw through this ministry, thank you for sharing these life changing lessons. ... I am so grateful for the invaluable insight and teachings of "Focus on Freedom!"

"Focus on Freedom" is truly an amazing Bible Study that has helped me pinpoint and face my past  hurts, fears, and circumstances. I truly believe Sister Kathy Shaw has found the Lord's heartbeat when it comes to true healing from your past and allowing the Lord to give you complete freedom from the chains of your past. This Bible Study has helped me forgive those who have hurt me, including myself. I can now look in the mirror and love the woman the Lord has called me to be. First of all, I will like to thank God for this great opportunity and thank you for "Focus on Freedom." It has been a great tool to build our spiritual life, bringing us closer to God when we put our weaknesses and wounds on His hands, encourage us to put aside our pride, and responsibly assume our faults, all this leads to the most beautiful experience of the great Mercy and Love of our Lord. For that reason, I decided to translate it, to provide to the Spanish speakers lessons that help, through the Word of God, with everyday situations that we have all experienced in our lives and lead them to find true Freedom through the Holy Spirit.
